Photography is one of my passions. Buying a digital camera got me started. Here's a fireplace that took lots of frames to capture properly. But that's the beauty of digital photography - you can snap, see what you've got and tweak the settings.

The fire feels so soft it almost seems safe enough to touch.

The Girl with the Pearl Earring

Was extremely impressed with the choreography of this film.
Light, shadows, tones were exemplary in almost every shot.
Many of the captured angles became still shots in their own right.

The film is based on the famous painting by Johannes Vermeer in which a servant girl is painted by her master.
